Overview of the Role
This is a dynamic position within the Digital Technologies department, where you will initially collaborate with a project team to enhance timetabling functionality, including the introduction of a new system. Post-implementation, you will take on the role of the technical lead for all aspects of timetabling. Your understanding of the product(s) and the environment in which they operate will be key as you proactively suggest future improvements and deliver exceptional technical support.
You will need to have some experience with timetabling. This may come from a background in timetabling with a strong interest in and proficiency with technology or from prior experience with specific timetabling technologies within a Digital Technologies or IT context, particularly in Higher Education. As part of the Corporate Applications team, which is diverse and has a deep understanding of products critical to the University, your role as a senior member of the Application Specialist team will also involve participating in broader team activities.
Please note, this role requires on-site work in Nottingham at least once a week; it is not a fully remote position.
