Position: Bilingual Senior Travel Consultant

As a Senior Travel Consultant, you’ll represent BCD as the primary point of contact for clients, showcasing professionalism and expertise while meeting the diverse needs of current and prospective customers. Are you a natural communicator with a passion for customer service?

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Travel Consultant, your main duties will include:
Handling Travel Reservations
Proactively search for and confirm travel reservations for clients.
Policy Adherence and Client Consultation
Maintain a strong understanding of client-specific travel policies.
Provide expert consultation to customers, ensuring compliance with travel guidelines.
Managing Travel Documentation
Address all requests related to travel regulations, such as DOT, TSA requirements, passports and visas.
Providing Industry Insights
Offer customers valuable industry information including low fares, exchange costs and penalty details.
Process and Relationship Optimization
Regularly review operational processes and client relationships.
Suggest actionable improvements to enhance operational efficiency and commercial success.
Staying Industry-Informed
Actively maintain and communicate updates on the latest trends, regulations and developments across supported travel industries.
About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Extensive Travel Agent Experience
A proven track record in the travel industry, showcasing your depth of expertise.
In-Depth Knowledge of the Travel Sector
Strong familiarity with industry policies, procedures and processes.
Technical Proficiency in GDS Sabre
Advanced skills in the GDS Sabre system are essential for success in this role.
Bilingual Communication Skills
Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
