Primary Responsibilities:
- Health History Collection: Gather detailed health information from new patients including general health, lifestyle, dietary habits and current symptoms.
- Physical Assessment: Perform physical examinations to assess posture and identify tension or restrictions in muscles, joints and the spine through palpation.
- Treatment Delivery: Use manual techniques such as gentle manipulations, stretching, joint mobilization and osteopathic manipulation to treat patients.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients to create personalized treatment plans that include lifestyle and dietary recommendations.
- Communication: Coordinate with ICBC, insurance companies, healthcare practitioners and team members regarding patient needs.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough records of patient progress using electronic charting software, ensuring accurate medical information is available upon request.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other practitioners to provide the best quality care for patients.
