Position Title: Manual Osteopathic Practitioner

Job Responsibilities

  • Patient Health Assessment: Collect and review new patients’ medical histories, focusing on overall health, lifestyle habits, diet and any specific or current symptoms.
  • Posture and Physical Assessment: Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients, using palpation to detect muscle, joint and spine restrictions and tension.
  • Hands-on Treatment: Provide manual therapy treatments through a combination of gentle manipulation, stretching, joint mobilization and osteopathic manipulation techniques.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating lifestyle and dietary recommendations to support overall wellness.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: Coordinate care by communicating with ICBC, insurance companies, other healthcare professionals and members of our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Patient Documentation: Accurately document patient progress and provide medical information when needed through electronic charting software.

Qualifications

Pay Range: $50,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year

Location: Langley, BC (V2Y 2C1). You should either live nearby or plan to relocate before starting work. Reliable commuting options are preferred.
